Lo condemns South Belfast car hijacking
10/01/12
Alliance South Belfast MLA Anna Lo has condemned the people responsible for a car hijacking on Chadwick Street off the Lisburn Road on Monday afternoon. The driver was pulled out of the car before they drove off with the car. The woman was unhurt but her car was found burnt out later.
Anna Lo MLA said: "I am shocked that these men carried out this crime in such a busy area.
I hope that this woman is able to get over what must have been a traumatic experience.
This is the second car hijacking in a week in South Belfast so I would urge drivers to be wary of people approaching them in their cars.
If anybody has any information about this car hijacking then they must contact the police."
