Lo outrage at those who organised child fights

Alliance MLA Anna Lo has condemned those adults who forced children to fight and to bet on the outcome. The media have found Internet video clips of an apparent fight of this nature. It is believed such incidents have come to attention after a fight was organised in Coalisland around two weeks ago.
Anna Lo MLA said: "How could anyone stoop so low as to force children to fight for their own entertainment. This has sick echoes of the savage and illegal practice of dogfighting. It is unthinkable that anyone would force a child into this despicable scenario.
Those responsible for this unbelievable cruelty must be caught - they cannot be trusted to look after children. Their evil actions are extremely hard to comprehend and the police and social services must get involved to catch the culprits and protect these children immediately."
