Lo condemns hammer attack on woman

South Belfast Alliance MLA Anna Lo has slammed the individual who carried out a hammer attack on a woman near Belfast City Centre on Monday afternoon. A man struck her and stole her handbag on Joy Street at around 3.40pm yesterday.
Anna Lo MLA said: "I simply cannot believe that something like this would happen near the city centre in broad daylight.
What type of person has the brutality to be able to hit someone on the head with a hammer. This thug needs to be caught because they pose a genuine danger to society.
My thoughts are with the woman who suffered this horrific attack and I hope she can recover quickly from this. Anyone who can help police with their investigation should contact them immediately."
